Kamut, aka by its tradename Khorasan, is an ancient wheat believed to have originated in the Fertile Crescent. This wheat is higher in protein and lower in gluten, making it easier for many people to digest. Mild, buttery flavor and a light gold color. Of the 3 ancient wheats and grains we use, Kamut has the mildest taste.
